No wonder he became interested in the apartment of an expert in the field of light, and privately a colleague of our expert. How did Michał arrange his apartment? Minimalism reigns in Michał's sixty-square-meter apartment. The decoration-free interiors are adorned solely by light. Modern lamps, functional lighting, and decorative wall sconces can be controlled via an app. The entire apartment is furnished in subdued colors, and the only strong accent in the interior is the kitchen cabinetry in the somewhat forgotten shade of wenge wood.
In interiors where light plays the main role, the other furnishings are meant to be merely a background. Michał followed a similar principle when choosing doors. The private rooms and the bathroom are accessed by flush-with-the-wall door leaves with a concealed frame, which Michał spotted in Krzysztof Miruć's designs. The Sara Eco 2 door is factory-coated with primer, so it can be painted or wallpapered. In Michał's apartment, two of the leaves are painted in the wall color. The door leading to the bathroom was wallpapered, making it almost completely disappear into the wall.
