What should you remember when choosing a bathroom door? – the ninth episode of the "Your DRE" series

Choosing a door for a bathroom is not only a matter of aesthetics, but above all functionality and compliance with regulations. It is a room with increased humidity, so the door must meet specific technical requirements that affect comfort and safety of use.

According to applicable building law, a bathroom door should be at least 2 meters high, at least 80 cm wide, and open outwards from the room. That is not all, however. Equally important is proper ventilation, which allows for effective removal of moisture.

In this regard, there are three solutions to choose from: ventilation sleeves, a ventilation grille, or a ventilation undercut. Each fulfills its function, and the choice of a specific option depends on aesthetic preferences and the interior design.

It is also worth paying attention to the issue of lighting. In the case of a dark bathroom, a door with glazing can be an excellent solution. Frosted glass provides access to natural light while maintaining full privacy for users.
