Minimum leaf width and height – in accordance with regulations, a bathroom door leaf should have a minimum width of 80 cm and a height of 2 metres.

Ventilation is a mandatory requirement – bathroom doors must ensure the free flow of air between the hallway and the room. This is crucial for maintaining an appropriate humidity level and protecting against misted mirrors or the accumulation of water vapour. Doors should allow emergency opening from the outside (a WC-type lock), and the opening direction must not hinder access to the room. Bright, minimalist bathrooms – in such spaces, doors in shades of white, beige, light wood or cashmere look best. Subtle colours brighten the interior and optically enlarge it.

Dark, elegant arrangements – in modern bathrooms with distinctive colours, door leaves in black, greys and dark shades of oak will work well.

Doors with glazing – for a bathroom without a window, it is worth choosing doors with discreet frosted glass or a narrow vertical or horizontal glazing. This will allow natural light from adjacent rooms to enter while maintaining full privacy.
