Light in the interior influences our well-being, visually enlarges the space, and sets the mood. Interior designers know perfectly well how to arrange a house or apartment so that it is bright and optimally lit. One of the simplest and most effective ways to brighten an interior is doors with glazing. This solution has been enjoying unwavering popularity for years because it subtly visually enlarges the space, adds lightness, and makes even small or dark rooms become brighter and more welcoming.
Types of glazing
We have a wide range of solutions to choose from, so we can perfectly match the type of glazing to the character of the interior and the function of a given room:
CLEAR GLASS – ensures maximum light flow into the room. This is a classic of arrangements, particularly popular in modern, modernist interiors. Doors with clear glazing visually brighten and open up the space. They will work perfectly when we want to visually connect, for example, the living room with the dining room.
FROSTED OR MILKY GLASS – this is an excellent choice if we care about a balance between brightening the interior and privacy. Doors with frosted or milky glass subtly diffuse light, creating a cozy and intimate atmosphere.
DECORATIVE GLASS – a proposal for those who appreciate unusual and original details. Doors with brown and graphite glass or fluted glass give the room a unique character and are an additional decorative element that draws attention.
Privacy vs. brightening
The greatest challenge is maintaining a balance between a bright, well-lit space and preserving privacy. In the bedroom, bathroom, or dressing room, doors with frosted, milky, or decorative glazing are an excellent solution. They allow you to enjoy natural light while guaranteeing a sense of comfort. This type of glazing subtly diffuses light, bringing a cozy atmosphere into the interior.
In shared spaces such as the kitchen, hallway, or living room, doors with large glazing, such as doors from the Estra collection or entirely made of glass, such as DRE doors from the Galla collection, work perfectly. They transmit light excellently, visually enlarge the space, and their modern style adds lightness to the entire arrangement. Doors from the Galla collection are made of safe 8 mm thick tempered glass. Both classic clear glazing and frosted in shades from brown to graphite, as well as decorative fluted glass, are available.
It is worth remembering that the right choice of glass is not only aesthetics but also functionality and comfort of use.
Use in various interiors
Doors with glazing are an excellent choice that will work in almost any room:
LIVING ROOM: if you care about a spacious and bright interior, choose doors with a large pane of clear glass. If you prefer a cosier atmosphere, opt for frosted glass. Doors with large glazing will bring modernity and lightness to the interior and additionally visually enlarge the space.
KITCHEN: here doors with glazing will work perfectly, allowing you to subtly separate the kitchen zone from the dining area or living room, while limiting the spread of odours during cooking. Such a solution does not take away light and guarantees the effect of an open and bright space.
HOME OFFICE: in a study, opt for a modern and minimalist design. Doors from the latest Volta collection will give a sense of spaciousness and connection with the rest of the home, while subtly separating the professional zone from the private one. Volta doors are based on a solid frame in several fashionable matte colours of the DRE-CELL decor: from cashmere, sage, dark blue to elegant black. We can choose clear or frosted glass, and the modern character of the doors is emphasised by designer handles.
How to perfectly match the doors?
When deciding on doors with glazing, it is worth bearing in mind the character and functionality of the room. In modern arrangements, models with simple lines and large glass panes, such as those from the Galla or Volta collections, will work best. They combine minimalism with elegance and allow maximum illumination of the space. In classic, rustic or Scandinavian-inspired interiors, on the other hand, doors with delicate, smaller glazing are an excellent choice. One thing is certain: suitably chosen doors with glazing will visually enlarge the space, adding lightness and a unique character.
Remember! We use the highest quality materials for the production of our doors. The tempered glass with a thickness of 4 or 8 mm used in our doors guarantees quality and durability you can be sure of.
