An undoubted advantage of apartments in an old tenement house is their height. Paulina's new home is over 3 meters high. When choosing door leaves for such a specific space, it is worth paying attention to certain elements. See what Krzysztof Miruć advised Paulina in our next episode of the series “Together we choose doors”.
Arranging an apartment in a tenement house is a real challenge. Above-standard height requires very thoughtful solutions and decorative elements. It is worth choosing tall interior doors with elements that optically elongate them upwards. Additionally, the protagonist of our episode, when furnishing her interior, wants to preserve the character of old architecture and introduce a bit of modernity, so the space is to be mainly white.
Doors to an apartment in a tenement house must also be selected in a very thoughtful way, above all in terms of height. Krzysztof's proposal is a model from the Hampton collection from the latest DRE Supreme line. The tall, white frame leaf, measuring 230 cm, is decorated with milling elements and two panels. Hampton doors are available in five color versions: white, gray, olive, dark blue and black. If you want to make the decorative door stand out against the rest of the room, choose it in a color contrasting with the wall. Krzysztof's proposal is gray, which will not only perfectly harmonize with the white wall, but also beautifully emphasize the chiaroscuro. Check which color the protagonist of our series chose.
