- Can I install a greenhouse without a foundation?

You can, but we recommend using the foundation, as it:

1. Serves as a support for the frame, provides rigidity to the base.
2. Provides resistance to snow and wind loads, serves as an anchor for the greenhouse.
3. Increases the overall height and volume of the greenhouse.

The steel foundation is made of a galvanized channel 120x40 mm and can additionally be coated with a decorative polymer coating, color - black.

Decorative polymer coating gives the foundation an attractive appearance and provides additional protection against corrosion when exposed to chemicals or fertilizers (a simple galvanized coating can oxidize in contact with chemicals).

Scope of delivery: channel according to the size of the greenhouse + accessories for assembling the foundation and fixing to the greenhouse.

Building the foundation :It is advisable to install a steel foundation on a pre-prepared flat surface. In order to prevent the greenhouse from being turned over and moved by the wind, it is necessary to fix the foundation to the ground with additional anchors (ground hooks). Ask for anchors (ground hooks) in sales offices.

Please note! Anchors (lugs) are driven into the ground after installing the foundation on the level. For example, the minimum recommended number of anchors (ground hooks) for a 3x4 steel foundation is 6 pcs., 3x6-8 pcs., 3x8-10 pcs.
