The relative humidity in the rooms influences the amount of air supplied and exhausted. The humidity level in an apartment is directly related to the number of users and daily activities that generate water vapor (such as washing, cooking, and bathing).
Using humidity-controlled fans, the system allows for the supply of outside air and regulates the amount of exhaust air—this is accomplished through humidity-controlled exhaust grilles. As humidity changes, the polyamide strip lengthens or contracts, simultaneously changing the capacity of the fan or grille.
This changes the amount of air that can flow through the element.
