Interior doors

Interior doors for apartments and houses

Baltijas durvis offers a wide range of interior doors for both apartments and private houses. Our selection includes doors to suit any preference — made of laminate, wood and glazed options, in various colours, shapes and functional solutions.

Interior doors separate rooms and, when choosing sliding systems, can hide shelving and wardrobe solutions from the rest of the interior.

How to choose suitable interior doors

When choosing interior doors, we recommend paying attention to:

  • the overall interior and how it matches the door design, colour, shape and opening system;

  • the door leaf design, construction and size;

  • the material — laminate (pressed material), glazed or wooden doors.

Laminate doors are lightweight and more budget-friendly but can deform easier and may have a shorter lifespan. Wooden doors cost more but are more resistant to impacts and environmental effects. Glazed doors not only separate rooms but also enhance the interior.

Glazed doors

Glazed doors can serve as an excellent interior element and allow maximum use of natural daylight, creating a bright and pleasant environment. For this reason, they are often chosen for rooms requiring additional daylight. Since glass can break from impact, tempered safety glass is most commonly used and does not form sharp shards when broken.

Interior door opening systems

Interior doors can have different opening systems:

  • Hinged doors — one of the most common solutions;

  • Sliding doors — suitable for small spaces, require a sliding rail;

  • Folding doors — interesting design element but less durable;

  • Pivot (rotor) doors — unique solution but require slightly more opening space.
